I told my husband that if Hillary runs, I’ll campaign for her.

But I hate politics. I do. It depresses me. I can’t stand the fighting and name-calling and all that wasted energy making other people wrong. Sure, I have strong opinions and I think I’m right, most of the time. But other people have strong opinions, too, and I’m not sure where all these opinions are getting us.

But look at her face. Look at it. You may not see what I see. I see a woman who takes it to heart even if she’s so damned smart that her heart is hard to see. I trust her. She doesn’t make excuses for who she is, for being smart, for having been heartbroken. She won’t talk down to you even if you can’t keep up with her thinking.

Ah, that’s all. I saw this photo on Rosie’s Flickr site and I just fell in love.
